Don't count on government or political parties to save your vote. And don't suppress your own vote by not voting. I know that it's not always an inspiring choice of candidates. But you can't go into McDonald's and order sushi. There's only so many things on the menu. We've got Democrats and Republicans. That's the menu. It may not be a healthy menu, but that's your menu. Make a choice. Because the consequences of not doing so, as we are finding out now, are severe.
