What is Musk? Car Manufacturer or Pollution Salesman?

Musk Makes a Profit off Your Good Intentions, Selling Other Car Companies the Right to Pollute

Elon Musk is taking your good intentions when you buy one of his so-called zero emission cars, and he's taking the pollution that you agreed to pay extra to give up, and he is selling that to General Motors and other car makers as “emissions credits.” When you buy a Tesla, that allows General Motors to sell a Tahoe which gets 15 miles per gallon and is a major pollution machine. So, you're also buying General Motors the right to pollute. Tesla made $405M last quarter — but only turned a profit by selling $595M in emissions credits. Elon Musk is not in the car business; he is a pollution salesman.
